My Thoughts
It's a gorgeous Wednesday today, and saying goodbye to Ziggy, off to doggy day care for the day, I find myself filled with peace and hope. The sun is shining, birds are singing, and there is a gentle breeze blowing that causes the leaves to rustle in the most soothing way. It is the perfect day to accomplish some tasks, pursue new leads, and cherish memories of friends and family members who have made a paw print in our lives.
With Ziggy out of the house, I decide to make the most of this peaceful day by doing some washing and catching up with my application to work for Words of Worth. Writing articles has been one of my hobbies, and I'm excited about the possibility of being part of a community of writers who share the same interest. As I fill out the application form, I couldn't help but feel hopeful and anticipation. I'm excited to show my writing skills and share my ideas and experiences with more people.
As I wait for Words of Worth to reply to me, I take a moment to admire the rose I planted in honor of Chokoes, my beloved Shih Tzu who passed away last year at the ripe old age of 16. The rose is flowering again, and it warms my heart to watch it grow and thrive. Chokoes was a wise, gentle dog and he left an indelible mark on my heart. The rose is a small but meaningful reminder of him and a reminder of the brief love, companionship and joy that he brought into my life.
And meanwhile, Dave is out there, trying to figure out how he can make his new TV's screen not change screen size. It's being a bit of a challenge, since there's nothing in the settings to help him. But Dave is resolute that he will figure out a way to do it, and he's not the kind of person to quit on a challenge. He may have to use the Help number, but he knows he'll get there in the end.
As I carry out my day, I'm reminded of being grateful for things in life that are so small yet make me so joyful. A good day, a sweetheart companion pet, being enthusiastic about writing, and having a partner who encourages me - these are the things which give life meaning. Time does not wait for anyone, they say, but today, I'm treating myself to paying attention to the greatness that surrounds me and the possibilities of the future to come.
In short, today is a wonderful Wednesday, full of potential and promise. Whether it's getting work done, looking for new opportunities, or creating memories, there's always something to be grateful for. So let's make the most out of each day, and enjoy the beauty and happiness that life has to offer.
